How to Sell Cryptocurrency to a Credit/Debit Card?

Selling cryptocurrency to a credit/debit card (Web)

It is now possible to exchange your cryptocurrency holdings for fiat money on Binance and receive the funds directly to your credit or debit card.

  1. Access your Binance account and click [Buy Crypto] – [Debit/Credit Card].

2. Select [Sell]. Decide which cryptocurrency to sell along with the fiat money. Enter the amount and click [Continue].

3. Select the mode of payment. Choose from your current cards or add a new one by clicking [Manage cards].

Only Visa credit/debit cards are supported, and you can save a maximum of 5 cards.

  1. Check for your payment information and order within ten seconds; click [Confirm] to continue. You will receive a new calculation for the price and amount of cryptocurrency after 10 seconds. To view the latest market price, click [Refresh].

5. Examine the order’s status.

5.1 After the order has been successfully processed, you can review the details by selecting [View History].

5.2 In the event that your order fails, the cryptocurrency amount will be returned to your Spot Wallet in BUSD.

Selling cryptocurrency to credit/debit cards (app)

  1. Sign in to the Binance App and select [Credit/Debit Card].

2. After choosing the cryptocurrency you would like to sell, click [Sell] in the upper right corner.

3. Decide on the receiving method. To add a new card or select one of your currently active cards, tap [Change card].

Only Visa credit/debit cards are supported for [Sell to Card], and you can save a maximum of 5 cards.

  1. Verify and click [Confirm] within 10 seconds after adding or selecting your credit or debit card. The amount and price of fiat currency will be recalculated in ten seconds. The latest market price can be seen by tapping [Refresh].

5. Check out the status of your order.

5.1 You can view your selling records by getting [View History] after your order has been effectively processed.

5.2 The cryptocurrency amount will be credited to your Spot Wallet in BUSD if your order is unable to succeed.

In what way sell cryptocurrency on Binance P2P?

Selling cryptocurrency on Binance P2P (Web).

Step 1: From the top navigation, select (1) “Buy Crypto” and then click (2) “P2P Trading.”

Step 2: Select the currency you wish to purchase (USDT is displayed as an example) by clicking (1) “Sell”. Choose an advertisement, filter the price and the (2) “Payment” drop-down, and then click the (3) “Sell” button.

Step3: Click “Sell” after entering the desired purchase amount in either fiat money or cryptocurrency.

Step 4: “Payment to be made by buyer” will now be displayed in the transaction.

Step 5: “To be released” will appear on the transaction after the buyer has made payment. Please confirm that the payment app or method you used has actually received payment from the buyer. After you confirm receipt of funds from the buyer, tap “Confirm release” and “Confirm” to transfer the cryptocurrency to the buyer’s account. Finally, to prevent any financial losses, DO NOT release cryptocurrency if you have not received any payment.

Step 6: The buyer will receive the cryptocurrency after the order is complete. To view your Fiat balance, click [Check my account].

Note: During the entire process, you can communicate with the buyer by using the Chat feature on the right side.

Besides: If you experience any problems during the transaction process, you can click “Appeal” to get assistance from our customer service team in handling the order, or you can use the chat window found at the top right of the page to contact the buyer.

Tips:

  1. To ensure that the payment has been received, please log into your account. By doing this, you can prevent financial losses from accidentally clicking the release button.
  2. The platform has frozen the digital assets that you are selling. To release the cryptocurrency, please click “Release” after verifying that the buyer’s payment has been received.
  3. To avoid financial losses, please do not agree to any request to release the crypto until the payment has been confirmed.
  4. To ensure that the payment is credited to avoid cryptocurrency from being released because of fraudulent SMS, please check your bank account after receiving the SMS notification.

Selling Crypto on Binance P2P (App)

On the Binance P2P platform, you can quickly and securely sell cryptocurrency with ZERO transaction fees! Start your trade with the guide provided below.

Step 1:

First of all, navigate to the (1) “Wallets” tab, then (2) “P2P” and (3) “Transfer” the cryptos you want to sell to your P2P Wallet. If you already have cryptocurrency in your P2P wallet, please select “P2P Trading” from the homepage to start trading.

Step 2:

Select “P2P Trading” from the app’s homepage to access the P2P page within your app. On the P2P trading page, click [Sell] at the top, choose a coin (we’ll use USDT as an example), then pick an advertisement and click “Sell”.

Step 3:

To place an order, (1) enter the amount you’d like to sell, (2) choose a payment option, and then click “Sell USDT”.

Step 4:

“Pending Payment” is now displayed in the transaction. Next, the transaction will show “Confirm Receipt” once the buyer completes payment. Make sure that you have fully received payment from the buyer to your selected payment app or method. Once the buyer’s payment has been confirmed, tap “Payment received” and “Confirm” to transfer the cryptocurrency to the buyer’s account. 

Last but not least, DO NOT release cryptocurrency if you have not received any payment in order to prevent any financial losses. 

Note: In case you have any problems with the transaction, you can click “Appeal” to get help from our customer service team, or you can use the chat window at the top right of the page to contact the buyer.

How to use a Credit/Debit Card to Purchase Cryptocurrency?

Buying Crypto with Credit/Debit Card (Web)

  1. Log in to your Binance account, then select [Buy Crypto] – [Credit/Debit Card].

2. Different fiat currencies are available for purchasing cryptocurrency here. The system will automatically display the amount of cryptocurrency you can get when you enter the amount you want in fiat.

3. Choose [Add new card].

4. Please enter your credit card information. Keep in mind that you can only pay with credit cards registered to your name.

5. Click [Confirm] after entering your billing address.

6. Within a minute, confirm your order and check the payment information. You will receive a new calculation with the price and quantity of cryptocurrency after one minute. To see the latest market price, click [Refresh]. Every transaction is subject to a 2% fee.

7. You’ll be taken to the OTP transaction page of your bank. Verify the payment by following the instructions on the screen.

Purchasing Crypto with Credit/Debit Card (Binance Pro App)

  1. From the home screen, choose [Credit/Debit Card] to begin. Instead, click [Buy Crypto] under the [Trade/Fiat] tab.

2. Subsequently, select the cryptocurrency you would like to purchase. You can either browse the list or type the cryptocurrency into the search bar. Additionally, you may adjust the filter to view different ranks.

3. Enter the amount you want to buy. If you would prefer to use a different fiat currency, you can swap it out. You can also use the Recurring Buy function to schedule regular cryptocurrency purchases with cards.

4. Select [Pay with Card] and press the [Confirm] button. You will be prompted to add a new card if you haven’t linked one yet.

5. Check that the amount you want to spend is accurate, and then click [Confirm] at the bottom of the page.

6. You’ve successfully completed the transaction. Your Binance Spot Wallet has been credited with the cryptocurrency you purchased.

Buying Crypto with Visa (Mobile Browser)

Visa cards are now accepted on Binance for the purchase of cryptocurrencies. This feature is optimized for both mobile browsers and the Binance App.

  1. Access Binance through your chosen mobile browser and log in to your account.
  2. Select [Buy Now] in the homepage

3. Enter how much you want to spend and select your fiat currency. Once you’ve chosen your preferred cryptocurrency, the available amount will be shown to you automatically. Click [Continue].

4. Choose [Visa/Mastercards] then click [Continue].

5. Provide your card’s information and select [Add Card].

6. Your Visa card has been successfully added now. Press [Continue].

7. Verify the payment information and confirm your order in a minute. You will receive a new calculation with the price and quantity of cryptocurrency after one minute. See the latest market price by tapping [Refresh].

8. Patiently wait while we process your order. After completion of the order, the cryptocurrency you have purchased will appear in your [Fiat and Spot Wallet].

Purchasing Crypto with Card (Binance Lite App)

Complete Identity Verification to get started at Binance. Basic Verification will take less than two minutes to complete and doesn’t require any additional documentation.

Once completed, you can use your credit or debit card to purchase cryptocurrencies directly. You can also use a bank transfer to deposit local currency.

  1. Press the bottom icon, then choose [Buy]. The “Buy Crypto” page can also be accessed by tapping the [Trade] button on the trading chart interface.

2. Decide which cryptocurrency to buy.

3. Enter the amount you want to purchase. If you would prefer to use a different fiat currency, you can also switch it.

4. Choose [Card Payment].

5. Provide your card’s information.

6. Type in the card billing address.

7. Carefully review and validate the order details in the order confirmation.

Depositing Fiat with Credit/Debit Card

  1. Sign in to your Binance account and select [Buy Crypto] – [Bank Deposit].

2. Decide on the payment method you want to use by [Bank Card], and the currency you wish to deposit. Press [Continue].

3. You will need to enter your card number and billing address if this is your first time adding a card. Prior to selecting [Confirm], please check that the information is correct.

Note: If you have already added a card, you can skip this step and just choose the card you want to use.

  1. Click [Confirm] after entering the amount you want to deposit.

5. The amount will then be transferred to your fiat balance.

6. Visit the [Fiat Market] page to view the trading pairs that are available for your currency and start trading.

How to purchase Crypto on Binance P2P?

Buying Crypto on Binance P2P (Web)

Step 1: Visit the Binance P2P page: 

  • Click “Log In” if you already have a Binance account, and then proceed to Step 4. 
  • Click “Register” to create one if you do not have it yet.

Step 2: 

Set your login password and provide your email address on the registration page. After reading and reviewing the Binance Terms, select “Create Account”.

Step 3:

Set your payment method, activate SMS verification, and finish Level 2 identity verification.

Step 4:

On the top navigation, choose (1) “Buy Crypto” and then click (2) “P2P Trading.”

Step 5:

Click “Buy” (1) and choose the desired currency (BTC is displayed as an example). Filter the price and (2) “Payment” in the drop-down, choose an advertisement, and proceed to (3) “Buy”.

Step 6:

After entering the desired purchase amount (in fiat currency) or quantity (in cryptocurrency), click “Buy” (2).

Step 7:

On the Order Details page, confirm the payment method and total amount (price).

Finish the fiat transaction before the time limit for payment. Click “Transferred, next” and “Confirm” after that.

Note: Depending on the payment details the seller has provided, you must transfer the money to them directly via bank transfer, Alipay, WeChat, or another third-party payment platform. You cannot click “Cancel” after transferring money to the seller unless you have already received a refund from them in your payment account. Kindly refrain from clicking “Confirm” to validate the payment if you haven’t made the actual payment. This is not allowed based on the terms of the transaction. You can use the chat window to get in touch with the seller if you have any questions or concerns during the transaction.

Step 8:

The transaction is finalized once the seller releases the cryptocurrency. To transfer the digital assets to your Spot Wallet, click (2) “Transfer to Spot Wallet”.

To view the digital asset you recently purchased, click (1) “Check my account” above the button.

Note: You may click “Appeal” to request assistance from Customer Service in completing the order if you do not receive the cryptocurrency 15 minutes after clicking “Transferred, next”.

Buying Crypto on Binance P2P (App)

Step 1: Log in to Binance app

  • If you already have a Binance account, press “Log in” and proceed to step 4.
  • Click “Register” in the upper left corner to create if you don’t already have a Binance account.

Step 2:

On the registration page, set a password for your login and provide your email address. Click the arrow to register after consulting the Binance P2P terms.

Step 3:

To log in, enter your password and email address and click the arrow.

Step 4:

Click the user icon in the upper left corner of the Binance app after logging in to finish identity verification. Next, select “Payment Methods” to complete SMS authentication and choose your mode of payment.

Step 5:

Click “P2P Trading” on the main page.

On the P2P page, click the (1) “Buy” tab as well as the cryptocurrency you intend to buy (2) (for example, USDT), then select an advertisement and click (3) “Buy”.

Step 6:

Click “Buy USDT” after entering the desired quantity and confirming the seller’s payment method.

Step 7:

Transfer the money to the seller directly using the payment information provided by the seller within the required time limit, and then click “Transfer the Fund”. After selecting the payment method you transferred to, tap “Transferred, next”.

It should be noted that although you may select “Transferred, next” on Binance, this does not guarantee that the money will reach the seller’s account immediately. In accordance with the payment details the seller has offered, you must complete the payment directly to them via bank transfer or another third-party payment platform.

If you have not completed any transactions, please avoid clicking “Transferred, next.” This will be against the P2P User Transaction Policy.

Step 8: The status will change to “Releasing”.

The transaction is completed when the seller releases the cryptocurrency. The digital assets can be transferred to your Spot Wallet by clicking “Transfer to Spot Wallet.”

You can check the cryptocurrency you purchased in your fiat wallet by selecting “Wallet” at the bottom and then “Fiat”. You can also select “Transfer” to send the cryptocurrency to your spot wallet for trading.

Note:

You can contact the seller by selecting the “Phone” or “Chat” icon at the top in case 15 minutes after choosing “Transferred, next,” you still haven’t received the cryptocurrency.

On the other hand, you can click “Appeal”, choose “Reason for Appeal”, and then “Upload Proof”. Our customer service department will support you with order processing.

  1. Presently, Binance P2P only allows you to buy or sell BTC, ETH, BNB, USDT, EOS, and BUSD. Please trade at the spot market if you would like to trade other cryptocurrencies.
